Co-Curricular Events and Civil Discourse

Guest Speaker - Yaser Ali - Wednesday, October 19, 2016

Join the Conversation – The rhetoric of extremism relies often on negative stereotypes, particularly regarding Muslims.
Our guest speaker, Yaser Ali, eloquently stated in the Arizona Republic, "That’s what fear does to us. It lingers inside us, colors our perception of others and begins to drive us away from those we’re unfamiliar with." This session offers a chance to break stereotypes and misconceptions through open dialogue and fellowship.
