余琦艺术简介 |
Yu Qi was born in China in 1986. She received her Master of Arts in ceramic design from Jindezhen Ceramic Institution and her B. A. in Oil painting from Jiangxi Normal University. She is a member of Jiangxi Artists Association, member of Jingdezhen Female Ceramists Association, and currently teaching Art in College of Technology and Art in Jingdezhen Ceramic Institution. Except oil painting, she is creates good ceramic art works because of her grandfather’s guidance. Yu Qi is not only learning ceramic art techniques, but also exploring her personal style in ceramic. Look at her works “Chinese Ladies”, “Fish”! Her artistic spirit and work of art were reported by many national newspapers like “Chinese Ceramic”. The picture of fish was drawn on potteries in Neolithic. It is shown people’s wishes of happiness. In China, the Chinese pronunciation of fish is same as the Chinese word of “Yu”, people use the picture of fish to represent the meaning of some Chinese Auspicious words eg. “niannianyouyu”. Since the fecundity of fish is stronger than other animals, people connect fish to the meaning of having a growing family. Fish cannot live without water; its nature is also referring to love by Chinese people. |
余琦:女,中国,1986年生,毕业于景德镇陶瓷学院陶瓷艺术专业硕士、江西师范大学油画专业学士,景德镇市女陶艺家协会会员,江西省美术家协会会员,现任教于景德镇陶瓷学院美术系。除擅长油画外,在其外祖父陈庆长先生的艺术熏陶下多创作陶瓷绘画作品,在继承陶瓷艺术精髓以外,不断研究中西方艺术并对陶瓷材料进行探索和创新,创作出中国仕女、游鱼等系列陶瓷绘画作品。在《中国陶瓷》等国家报刊多次发表艺术作品并曾接受多次专访报道。 鱼纹,在新石器时代陶器中就有出现,鱼纹装饰正是当时人们生活的写照,也象征着人们期盼富足的美好愿望。在中国,“鱼”是“余”的谐音,人们用鱼来寓意“年年有余”“吉祥有余”等,因为鱼对应了人们富裕、吉庆、求福的心理,含义处处得利,生活幸福。并且鱼儿的繁殖能力特别强,又有“多子多福、人丁兴旺”的幸福生活期盼。鱼儿离不开水的自然现象又是鱼水之欢的情感表达,寄托了男女爱情、夫妻恩爱的美好。 |
