The Seed Library provides information about vegetable, herb seeds, check-out policies, planting calendars, related education materials and support from local gardening experts and other resources. Thanks to the ASU Seed Library. for sharing the template!

About

Our Seed Library is stocked with edible plant and herb seeds appropriate for Arizona growing conditions and seasons. We partner with nearby SummerWinds Nursery, which generously donates some of its seeds and soil to our inventory.  

Checkout Information

  • Library users are welcome to checkout up to 3 seed packets per calendar month from the Seed Library.  
  • To check out a seed packet, bring the info sheet from the seed cabinet to the Circulation Desk & provide your MEID or ID - seed packets are stored at the Circulation Desk.
  • At this time, there is not an option to place a reserve on seed packets and all seeds are subject to availability.

The attractive calendars prepared by ASU Library below were built from a variety of sources and have been customized for the Phoenix area climate.  Feel free to print or store them for your use.
