About the Buxton Library: Library Card & Account

Library Card Registration

To check out library materials and use library services, you must be enrolled as a student or non-student (Community Borrower) and have a MEID, PVCC ID, an affiliated MCCCD college ID, or a state-issued ID. Below are steps for completing this process.

Registering Online

Students & Community Borrowers can retrieve their MEID number (needed to use the Library & computers) by self-registering HERE.

*Community borrowers must sign up using the “Non-credit Student” application*

Registering In-person

Visit the Library in the E-Building or the Welcome Center in the KSC Building to enroll as a student or Non-credit Student/Community Borrower.

Once enrolled, visit the Computer Commons to have your PVCC ID card made. This ID will act as your library card. Please note it may take up to 24 hours for your unique MEID to be authenticated.

*There is no charge for the first ID card. A replacement ID card will cost $5.00*

Manage Your Library Account
