CRE101 - College Critical Reading and Critical Thinking

Use these tips when searching for web sites on your topic:
 

1) Use Phrase searching like: 

                     "global warming" or "campaign finance"     NOTE: phrases in quotes.
 

2) Limit by credible domains and search only for: 

               "your topic" site:.a credible domain  like           .edu,    .gov    .org                       
 

                Example: "global warming" site:.gov
 

3) Use Google Scholar:

             Go to scholar.google.com and locate articles that have the "Get it at PVCC"  
             which links back to our databases for the full-text of articles.
