APA Templates in Google Docs

Now that you have the EasyBib add-on, take full advantage of EasyBib's helpful citation features by using the APA template in Google Docs to create the layout for your paper. Here's how you can find and use the template:

1) Be sure you are first logged into your Maricopa gmail, and then use the Apps icon to select "Docs"

2) Click Template Gallery

3) Scroll down to the Education section and choose "APA Template"

 

4) The APA template with the EasyBib Add-on will open allowing you to begin writing/editing/citing your paper.

EasyBib Add-on for Google Docs

Steps to add the EasyBib Bibliography Creator to Google Docs:

1) First, log in to your

2) Click on the Google Apps icon - it looks like this: 

3) Select "Docs" from the menu

4) Start a new blank document

5) Go to "Add-ons" menu and select, "Get add-on"

6) Choose "EasyBib" on the first screen

7) After EasyBib installs, go back to Add-ons menu and choose, "EasyBib Bibliography Creator" - Manage Bibliography

8) A sidebar will open, select your preferred citation style 

9) Choose the publication type: book, journal article or website and paste in either the book title, journal article title, or URL

10) EasyBib will provide citations that may match - choose the one that matches your source and preview it for accuracy. 

11) Click, "Add bibliography to doc"
