Lunar New Year Celebrations: 2023

Welcome to Paradise Valley Community College’s 10th annual Lunar New Year celebration, brought to you by the Buxton Library and PVCC International & Intercultural Education Committee. This year, PVCC is celebrating the Year of the Rabbit, with four unique presentations featuring art songs in China by a well-known Chinese American opera singer, a look back at historic Phoenix Chinatown by an archeology scholar, and a presentation from an imagineer who has worked over 20 years in Asia, and an interactive calligraphy workshop by one of our own librarians.
