Lack of Access to Quality Schools

Every child, regardless of the zip code they live in and regardless of their socio-economic status - deserves access to well resourced, fully funded, quality education. The reality is that not every neighborhood has access to a quality school. In many communities across Arizona and our country, the lack of access to a quality school has become a reality. Much like the lack of access to healthy, nutritious food within the boundaries of a community, the lack of access to quality schools is usually by design - impacts families and students of color the most.

The Consequences Of Failure to Provide A Quality Education

The consequences of a student lacking access to a quality education and school goes far beyond their grades and the school boundaries. When a student leaves the school system without the skills and tools to be successful in life - this has major impacts on the quality of their life and that of their communities. The failure to prepare students for life after high school comes at a great cost to our society and well-being.
